The Concorde
The Concorde is one of only two supersonic transport planes to enter commercial service.
Concorde was jointly developed and produced by Aerospatiale and the British Aircraft Corporation.
The Concordes' first flight was in 1969, and entered into service in 1976. It would continue being used as a commercial airliner for another 27 years.
This aircraft mainly flew from Europe to America and was famous for making this flight in half the time of other airliners.
The Concorde was retired in 2003 due to a downturn in the aviation industry after it's only crash in 2000.
